DAHLONEGA, GA
– The much-anticipated matchup between the top two teams in
the country will have to wait for another day as Head Coach Mike
Davenport announced the games have been postponed due to
anticipated thunderstorms set to move into the area late
tonight.
North Georgia, who started the season as the No. 2 teams in the
country, sat only behind the top-ranked UAH Chargers until the
first regular season poll of the season where the two-teams
flopped, giving the Saints the No. 1 spot with 11 first-place votes
for 391 total votes, just to ahead of the Chargers at 389.
The two teams have rescheduled the doubleheader for Sunday, March
21, 2010, with first pitch schedule for 1:00 p.m.
With Wednesday’s games moved to a later day, the top-ranked
Saints shift their focus to Tuesday’s doubleheader against
8th-ranked Lemoyne College. First pitch at Haines & Carolyn
Hill Stadium is set for 4:00 p.m.
