DAHLONEGA, GA
– North Georgia’s doubleheader against Lander
University originally scheduled for Thursday evening has been
postponed due to expected inclement weather and has been
rescheduled for next Wednesday.
The Saints, who claimed their second straight Peach Belt Conference
regular season championship on Tuesday afternoon with a
doubleheader sweep over Columbus State, will now move their final
home games of the season to Wednesday, April 14, with first pitch
set for 5:00 p.m. against the Bearcats.
The games will also serve as senior day with North Georgia
recognizing Leslee Smith, Jessica Skeels, Laura Voyles, and
Courtney McGuire playing their final regular season home games for
the Saints.
Make plans to be in attendance to watch the two-time PBC Champions
take on Lander at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. Following the
doubleheader, North Georgia will pack their bags and head out of
town on Thursday for the 2010 PBC Tournament hosted by Francis
Marion University at Freedom Florence Park in South Carolina.
