DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia softball
preseason show broadcasted live Tuesday evening from
Rooster’s Café as head coach Mike Davenport and a pair
of players joined Rusty Brown and Tim Whitmire to talk about the
upcoming season.
In front of a packed house at Rooster’s Café in
Dahlonega, the 2010 North Georgia softball preseason show debuted
with four segments as the Saints get set to open their season this
weekend in Aiken, South Carolina, as the Aiken Early Bird
Tournament.
North Georgia will play their season opener against Mount Olive
this Saturday at 12:00 p.m., one of three opening day games. The
Saints will also oppose Barton College and Erskine College on
Saturday, before turning around on Sunday for a trio of games
against Charleston, Chowan, and Seton Hill.

competition. North Georgia is set to play their home opener on
February 12, a weekend that will feature four games at the annual
Captain D’s Classic. Fans will be able to follow all four
