FLORENCE, S.C. – The sixth-ranked University of North Georgia softball team's Peach Belt Conference doubleheader at Francis Marion University has been pushed back to 4:00 p.m. due to rain in the area.
The Patriots (20-14, 5-5 PBC) and No. 6 Saints (26-7, 6-2 PBC) are now set for a first pitch at 4:00 p.m. for game-one with the second game set to start at around 6:00 p.m.
North Georgia leads the all-time series 17-5, including having won the last 11 meetings between the two programs dating back to the 2009 season. Last year, the Saints claimed the two games 4-1 and 9-4 in Dahlonega.
