DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia women's basketball team is set to host a Lumpkin County YMCA night this coming Monday when the Lady Saints play host to Reinhardt College in a non-conference tilt in Memorial Hall.
In a partnership with the new Lumpkin County YMCA, the department of athletics at North Georgia is set to host the second of many YMCA nights with the youth of Dahlonega this year.
Monday's 5:30 p.m. contest against nearby Reinhardt College will be the Lady Saints' eighth straight home game to start the 2011-12 season.
Following the non-conference contest, the Lady Saints will hold an autograph session for the boys and girls of Lumpkin Country YMCA. Women's basketball posters and schedules will be available immediately following the game.
Admission to Memorial Hall will be free to the public so come out and support the Lady Saints as they take on the Eagles for Lumpkin County YMCA Night!
North Georgia is currently 4-2 on the year and are led by Jaymee Carnes (pictured right) who leads the country in scoring at 27.8 points per game and blocked shots at 4.2 per contest. She is also second in all of Division II with 13.2 rebounds per game, having notched a double-double in all six games this season.
