Emily Burkhalter is in her second season as an assistant coach for the North Georgia College & State University women’s basketball program in 2009-10.

Burkhalter finished her playing career at the conclusion for the 2007-08 season at North Georgia, having played two season for head coach Buffie Burson after transfering from nearby Truett-McConnell College.

Burkhalter will start her Master’s degree at North Georgia while starting her coaching career in the Lady Saints’program.
