CLARKESVILLE, GA
– The North Georgia women’s golf team rounded out the
field of seven teams on Tuesday afternoon at the 4th Annual
Piedmont College Spring Invitational at The Orchard Golf &
Country Club.
Methodist University ran away with the event, finishing 53 shots
ahead of runner-up Piedmont College, while Ohio Dominican
University took third. The Lady Saints finished last with 855
strokes.
Brittany Kemp recorded an opening round 86 and a final round 95 to
finish 16th overall with a 181, while Charley Whitmire finished a
shot behind her teammate at 182 with a final round 94 after opening
the tournament with an 88.
Courtney Hall took 38th place with a 226, while Ariana Stamatiou
finished 44th with a 272, and Leania Bulloch was 45 with a 273.
North Georgia returns to action on March 15-16, 2010 at the Berry
College Invitational.
