AUGUSTA, GA – Catalina Olarte continues to rewrite the record books for the North Georgia women's golf team as she became the first player in school history to be named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference team.

The league office announced that Olarte had been named PBC Second-Team All-Conference at a banquet before the opening round of the 2012 PBC tournament contested at the par-72 Callaway Gardens.

The Manizales, Colombia, native leads the Lady Saints and is currently ninth in the Peach Belt in scoring average at 79.4.

Olarte has been the low scorer for North Georgia in 17 of the 20 rounds played this year. She also has eight of the team's 10 lowest scores this year, while posting scores below 80 in 11 of her 20 rounds.

Olarte has won one event this year taking the North Georgia Spring Invite by seven strokes. The junior also has five other top 10 finishes in the 10 events she has played this season.

Earlier this spring Olarte became the first player in school history to be named PBC Golfer of the Week after a seventh place finish at the Coastal Georgia Invitational.

Olarte and the rest of the Lady Saints return to the links this afternoon when they compete in the 2012 Peach Belt Conference Tournament contested at the par-72 Callaway Gardens located near Columbus, Georgia.
