Lady Saints to host defending national champions at
home
DAHLONEGA, GA – North Georgia College
& State University head coach Chris Adams released the 2008
schedule for the Lady Saints soccer program this morning which will
feature back-to-back home matches against the defending NCAA DII
National Champions in the University of Tampa and Columbus State
University who are the defending Peach Belt Conference regular

With possibly the toughest schedule in the history of the North
Georgia soccer program, the Lady Saints will be taking on ranked
teams in and out of conference play.
Some of the best teams in the country will make their way to the
North Georgia Soccer Complex this fall as three teams from last
season's NCAA Tournament final 16 will make an appearance in the
span of seven days.
The University of Tampa Spartans, the defending National
Champions, will come to town on Sunday, September 14, followed by
Columbus State University Wednesday, September 21, and finally the
University of Montevallo will come calling Sunday, September 21, to
finish off one of the most competitive stretches in Lady Saints'
soccer history.
North Georgia will also face the likes of Barry University and
Armstrong Atlantic State University on the road in 2008, while PBC
rivals Clayton State University and USC Aiken will travel to
Dahlonega for a pair of late-season league match ups.
The Lady Saints will kick off the 2008 season at home with an
exhibition game against Division I Georgia Southern University on
Sunday, August 17, at 2 p.m.
