DAHLONEGA, GA - The North Georgia College &
State University women’s soccer program has announced the
signing of four players to NCAA National Letters of Intent for the
2009 season.
“The 2009 recruiting class goes a long way towards filling
the needs of our team,” head coach Chris Adams said early
Wednesday afternoon. “We are excited about this group’s
ability to come in and complement the existing players who return
next year.”
In 2008, North Georgia finished the regular season 8-7-2 overall
and 5-3 in the Peach Belt Conference as they hosted their
first-ever PBC Tournament game. The Lady Saints finished the
regular season 4th in the conference, their highest finish since
entering the NCAA four years ago.
“We will be far more dangerous at the forward position and
have much more depth in the back with these additions. As pleased
as we are with their soccer ability we are even more impressed with
their character and academic backgrounds.”
