Casey Smith Grabs Another PBC Weekly Award

University's Casey Smith has been named the Peach Belt Conference
Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Lady Saints to their
second straight victory Saturday afternoon.
Smith keyed a defense that had a dominating performance against USC
Aiken, holding the Lady Pacers to just two shots on goal. USCA did
not get off a shot in the first half only one of their second-half
attempts was on goal.
Smith also played a part on offense, providing two assists as North
Georgia won the game 3-0. The shutout was the fourth of the year
for the Lady Saints. This is the second PBC weekly award Smith has
received after being named the Offensive Player of the Week last
month.
North Georgia returns to action Wednesday evening, traveling to
Anderson University to take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.
