Women's Soccer Home Opener Washed Out
DAHLONEGA, GA – While the North Georgia
women’s soccer team prepared for their first home game of the
year against Anderson University, a weather cell out of Alabama had
different ideas, as heavy thunderstorms rolled into Dahlonega to
cancel Wednesday night’s non-conference match-up.
The game will be rescheduled at a date yet to be announced. The
Trojans and Lady Saints have a history of being postponed as the
two teams were washed out a year ago in Anderson, South
Carolina.
The Lady Saints will now turn their focus to Saturday’s
Peach Belt Conference opener at USC Aiken as the Pacers welcome
North Georgia to town with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
