Lady Saints Fend Off Braves 8-1 in Women's Tennis
DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia
women’s tennis swept all three doubles matches on their way
to an 8-1 victory over visiting UNC Pembroke Friday afternoon in
Peach Belt Conference action.
The Lady Saints improve to 2-1 overall on the season and 1-0 in
the Peach Belt Conference, while the Braves fall to 1-2 overall and
0-1 in the league.
North Georgia returns to action on Sunday morning with second
straight first Peach Belt Conference match of the season at Francis
Marion University. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m. in Florence,
South Carolina.
