Katie Vance Named PBC All-Conference
Dahlonega, GA - North Georgia College &
State University’s Katie Vance was named Peach Belt
Second-Team All-Conference Saturday morning, following her most
impressive race of the season at the PBC Championships on the muddy
West Campus Course hosted by Georgia College & state
University.
Freshman Katie Vance who finished 14th overall in a time of 21:13
at the event, took the final spot on the Peach Belt All-Conference
Second-Team. Vance finished just two seconds behind Savannah Sutton
of Augusta State who came away with the freshman of the year
award.
Vance led her team to the highest Peach Belt Conference finish in
school history, coming away with third place, just beating out GCSU
by 16 points.
The Lady Saints will have a week off before traveling to Wingate
University on Saturday, November 8, for the NCAA South Atlantic
Regionals.
