2008 (As a Sophomore) – Finished with a season-best 28:48 at the 8k Mercer Invitational…took season-high 10th place (28:50) at the 8k Sewanee Invitational…clocked a 29:25, good for 18th place at the Peach Belt Conference…placed 77th (36:59) at the NCAA Regional.

High School – Competed at Oglethorpe County High School for head coach David Roper...named distance runner of the year three different times, and most valuable player on two different occasions.

Personal – Son of Gip and Cathy Lee Marchette, majoring in History.
