FRANCIS MARION UNIVERSITY (34-14)
The Francis Marion University Patriots enter the 2010 NCAA Tournament with an at-large bid as the No. 4 seed in the Southeast Regional after finishing the season at 34-14 overall. The Patriots were runner-up in the Peach Belt Conference tournament championship, winning four of their last six games as the Patriots are just two years removed from advancing to the Division II World Series in 2008. FMU received votes in the latest NFCA Division II top 25 Poll as senior Michaela Wolf leads the charge in the circle and at the plate as the lefty is hitting .381 with four home runs and 34 runs batted in. She is also a 20-game winner with a 2.08 earned run average, striking out 158 batters and holding opponents to a .248 batting average.
